Reserve Bank of India (RBI)

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is the central bank of India. The Reserve Bank is wholly owned by the Government of India. The Reserve Bank is the umbrella network for numerous activities, all related to the nation's financial sector, encompassing and extending beyond the functions of a typical central bank. National Housing Bankis a wholly-owned subsidiary of RBI. The Reserve Bank also has a majority stake in the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.
