The American two-wheeler manufacturer all set to fuel a price war, in the niche cruiser segment this November

UM India Renegade Commando cruiser priced at Rs 1.25 lakh

The latest manufacturer to venture in our two-wheeler market is UM India Two Wheelers. The American company is ready to launch its first cruiser, UM Renegade Commando, in India at an aggressive price of Rs 1.25 lakh each.

The motorcycle model stays true to its traditional cruiser styling — with low seats, high and wide handlebar, curvy fuel tank and raked out front forks. The UM Renegade Commando will be offered in three popular cruiser shades including matte green, black and white.

The Indian version of the UM Renegade Commando will come with a 225cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor capable of producing 18PS at 8,000rpm of peak power and 15.5Nm at 5,500rpm of maximum torque. The mill will come mated with a five-speed gearbox.

The UM Renegade Commando will be first launched in Delhi, Pune and other metros and is expected to go on sale in the month of November.
